Partly Cloudy with a chance of Falling Sky

It was 6:30 pm on a Saturday night and I heard the thunders rumbling across the sky. It had been only 3 months since I got a second-hand DSLR and I was in my first college semester. I wanted so badly to get a picture of a night sky with a lightning that without a second thought I got my hands on it. I set up my tripod hoping to capture something more than pitch black.

What will I share

I know how the creative process can be a vast Wild West, or at least how it feels like that at times. What I have found is the less you fight it, the more you do and the happier you live. No matter what it is that you’re interested, you should be comfortable in your own skin exploring whatever media you feel like it. TL;DR: I’m going to share with tips about photography, video edition, and After Effects animation.

Who am I?

In case you want to put a face to my name, this is me. My name is Johan, I live in the San Francisco bay area. I love photography, video, animation, storytelling, books, movies, and to make it short, everything that conveys an emotion. My intention here is to create a place that serves as an outlet and write about all those things I never get to talk about. I’d love if while I’m doing that something rings a bell for you and you start your own creative process. I’m an average Joe who is always questioning things but I also like to take pictures, hike, run, laugh about silly jokes, listen to music, and binge-watch series on Netflix. I’m passionate about knowledge and spread the word so welcome to my internet corner.
